Fjære Ungdomsskole, a secondary school, has in the current school year 325 students, divided into 3 grades and 13 classes. The school has 41 employees, and 33 of them are teachers.
 
The school is located 4 km east of the center of Grimstad. It was  inaugurated in 1968, destroyed by fire in 2001 and rebuilt in  2003.

Next door to the school is the sports hall, Vikhallen. It is used for  physical education and  major events.

Last eTwinning class for this year. We have just been to a consert performed by students from the same grade. While we have been working with international contacts during the school year, another group has been singing and playing music. Today we, and the rest of the students have been the audience. As we were invited to a "Cafe Consert", we also got icecreams. Looks like the group like it!
